The world is being awash in the promise of graphene-backed computer chips.
The stuff’s been used to build all sorts of things, from smart phones to smart-home devices.
And the promise is that you won’t need to touch a computer screen or a display anymore, thanks to its unique properties and the ability to be used on all kinds of materials.
But it’s also the stuff that’s causing quite a bit of concern among those worried about the health of the world and its ability to sustain a future without climate change.
And a new paper from MIT’s School of Engineering has some surprising results on that front.
