It can crash the browser if you try to open the file by right clicking on it, or it can crash Chrome if you close the window and reopen it.

Here are the steps you’ll need to follow to fix your Chrome extension graphite issue:1.
Click on Tools -> Extensions, and then click on the Extensions tab.3.
Find the extension that you want to fix.4.
The extension will now be shown in the extensions list.
If it’s already installed, you can click on it to uninstall it.6.
Click Cancel to close the extension.7.
Open the Chrome extensions list, and navigate to the extension you just installed.8.
Click the extension icon in the list to launch Chrome’s Extensions page.9.
Click Edit extension.10.
Click Add button.11.
Choose the graphite extension from the list, select the type of file that you need to fix, and click Save.
